From the looks of her, most people would rightfully assume that Lady Gaga has some pretty exotic, outrageous and crazy beauty regimes. (Madonna and her Kabbalah-blessed water comes to mind, as does Gwyneth Paltrow's Macrobiotic diet).
However, the pop diva reveals in the latest issue of People that she's pretty down to earth when it comes to her daily beauty routine.
Citing her mom, Cynthia Germanotta, as the inspiration for how she keeps her skin glowing, flawless and meat suit ready, the superstar says that her secret is washing her face with Ivory soap. (Gaga also credits Princess Diana with her beauty influences, too.)
Still, nobody's perfect, and when asked how many nights a week she goes to bed with makeup -- the answer given back was: Seven!
"… not good for your skin, but I'm blessed with good genes."
She also carries sunblock to protect her face against that giant yellow orb in the sky.
"I don't like to tan my face because it's bad for wrinkles," she explains.
In case you were not aware, Lady Gaga is actually a brunette. Now known for her bottled-blonde locks, she says she misses her dark hair and has to get special chemical haircuts because her "blonde hair is falling out."
No, she doesn't demand to bath in Evian, nor does she just only eat green M&Ms. What she really wants?
A foot massage.
Yeah, we totally understand that one.
When asked to impart wisdom to all the little monsters than adore her:
"Just go with your gut," she urges. "Whenever you try to be someone else, it's boring."
