Wondering how to give your wardrobe a spring makeover? "This season is all about COLOR!" says Jené Luciani, style expert for Today and author of The Bra Book.

"Whereas the last few spring seasons we saw muted prints and washed out colors, this season there is nothing exciting about neutrals – it's all about bold colors!" Luciani says.

This season, the old rules of mixing prints and colors don't apply. The runways were positively blooming with mix and match prints and colors. "Just have fun with color – mix and match with a bold printed skirt and a neon top or even mix and match colors like fuchsia and green," says Luciani.

If you are wondering how to pull this look off in a more conservative or work setting, follow some basic rules for mixing colors and prints. When mixing prints, try to stay within the same general color scheme. A black and white print is more versatile and can be mixed with a variety of prints and colors.
