A diamond-shaped face is widest at the cheekbones and equally narrow at the jawline and forehead. Screen icons Katherine Hepburn and Sophia Loren are classic examples. If you face forms a true, balanced diamond shape, lucky you: You can wear almost any hairstyle!

Show off your cheekbones.

If you have a balanced diamond-shaped face, show off your assets. Tuck your hair behind your ears to emphasize your fabulous cheekbones and terrific bone structure.

Leave weight at the nape.

If the shape of your face is dramatic with an extremely pointy chin, balance out your cheekbones and chinline with a little weight at the back nape or chin areas. A classic bob cut with a little fullness at the bottom is ideal. A layered cut with flipped-out ends is also a terrific choice.

Avoid short bangs.

The right bangs can shorten and widen the forehead area for a more balanced look. Make sure your bangs aren't too short, however; short bangs (brow level or above), as well as hairstyles with too much height on top, are all wrong for a diamond-shaped face. They'll make your face appear too long and thin.

first off this is totally wrong the woman in the picture is no where near diamond shaped shes more heart and neither is sophia

This post is a lie. I have a diamond-shaped face, and a lot of hairstyles - especially shorter ones - look absolutely terrible on me due to the emphasis on my cheekbones.
