Fall Makeup At
Fashion Week
Some of the makeup trends we see at Fashion Week are bound to catch on, while others are strictly for runway models. Let's take a look at a few of the makeup trends we have seen so far at Fall 2011 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

Red eye shadow
This is one makeup trend that doesn't translate well to real life. At the Thakoon show, the red eye shadow was actually created with NARS blushes (Taj Mahal, Desire and Exhibit A).
Thick eyeliner
At the Y-3 show, we loved the braids, but the thick, black eyeliner is also a look that will be popular for fall. The thick liner has a 1960s flair that is full of drama but is still wearable.
Neutral face
Barely there makeup has been a big trend at Fall 2011 Fashion Week. This model for Richard Chai wore silver MAC eye shadow and a very neutral look. Christian Siriano, Peter Som, Tommy Hilfiger and many other shows also featured clean, natural faces.
