Hello, Texas!

OPI just announced Texas, its newest nail color collection for spring 2011. Here's a peek at the 12-color polish lineup.

Go big or go home

Inspired by the state where everything is bigger, OPI's Texas collection features bright hues and strong neutrals. OPI hit the right trends by adding a grey polish (It's Totally Fort Worth It) and deep chocolate brown (Suzi Loves Cowboys); both of those colors have been very popular for fall.

OPI hasn't forgotten the freshness of spring, though: Included are a few pink shades, such as Do You Think I'm Tex-y and Gal Meets Gal-veston.

What do you think of the collection? Which colors will you try first?

OPI has the best colors ever. I think I'll go ahead and splurge on a couple of bottles. They're just so cute! San-tantonio is pretty, as is Guy Meets Gal-veston.

Those colors look pretty dark for Texas springs. Have the people who design never been to Texas in Spring? We have blue skies and lots of sunshine, not to mention the Blue Bonnets, Indian Paint Brush and Indian Blanket wildflowers. Get with it... Lets have some "real" Texas spring colors. I see someone suggested Burnt Orange (Texas University) and Gig' em (A&M maroon), which would also be popular.
