Pig placenta beauty drink

JapanWeird beauty treatments: pig placenta

If you missed Sex Ed 101, placenta is tissue that grows inside of women when they are pregnant. It serves to nourish and protect the fetus and is pushed out after the fetus during what is called the "afterbirth."

It's slimy, slippery, bloody and full of fluids, so who would think to drink such a thing? The desire for youth and beauty can be a strong one, which is why people in Japan are currently lining up to drink ground pig placenta. Like menstrual blood, placentas are full of vitamins, nutrients and minerals – everything that an egg or baby feeds on, pre-Gerber. Personally, I prefer my Centrum 1-A-Day, but for the brave at heart, a 30 mililiter bottle will run you $8.50 or 1,000 yen in Tokyo. Not a bad price, actually.

I will be doing none of this! LoL! I'll stick to just putting a few drops of coconut oil on my skin after washing my face. Has really improved my complexion! However, that skin pricker sounds kind of interesting... KIND OF.. :)

when I was 15 I was on vacation in Croatia, a local lady with beautiful skin told me to pick up a snale and rub it on my skin because I had, like most 15 year olds, bad acne. I laughed it off and never did it because it just seemed gross. Now that I read about the snale cream I dont think it would have been such a bad idea..

I cant believe that such things exist but then like they say, nature is the best antidote to our beauty problems! www.stylelifefashion

LILO D July 04, 2012 | 7:36 AM is right but I have to say I would prob try the snail cream the placenta face cream and bull sperm conditioner. The snail cream seems cool, the face cream is ewww but I heard good reviews bout it and the bull sperm it doesn't have to touh my face it's just hair so wth il o for it.

NIka June 19, 2012 | 6:39 PM

I don't think I could ever do any of these except for maybe the snail cream, it's not like it's actually made of ground up snails, just a compound found in snails. But bull sperm, pee gargle, and placenta drinks, those just...those are just vomit worthy.

Erica June 13, 2012 | 9:48 AM

Really, wtf?!?! Bull sperm conditioner? Shivers.

Tanya Frey June 11, 2012 | 4:10 PM

To be honest I will try anything to see if it works. Maybe a lot of these do seem strange, personally they are a bit out there, but I like to keep the perspective that I should first consider why it is not strange at all to someone else. And you say no one would try these products, you need more people like me :)
