New York Fashion Week: Day 5

Day 5 of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week was quite a hit, with glamorous fashion presentations from design legend, Carolina Herrera, among others. Texture seems to be a leading trend for Spring 2010, with the desired hemline a minimalist super-short. Carlos Miele showed a rainbow of bright colors accented with unique rope detail. Tracy Reese also featured designs of bright, bold color, highlighted with loads of texture.

Trend: Asymmetry

Whether it's an asymmetrical neckline or hemline, asymmetry will be one of the standout trends for Spring 2010, featured in shows by Tadashi Shoji, Tony Cohen and Tracy Reese.
