Accentuate With Accessories
Investing in a robust collection of accessories is the easiest and most cost-efficient way to add variation to your wardrobe. Bigger is better when it comes to the complementary pieces this season, but style experts advise to mix with more simplistic ensembles to create a put-together look.

You could argue that a t-shirt is actually part of the whole ensemble, but Jeane Beiter of the Jeane B. style consulting firm lists it under her must-have accessories. "The white shirt wins hands-down for the current trend piece most easily used as a timeless, seasonless wardrobe staple," she says. "Whether your style is conservative, creative or alluring, there's a white shirt that is just right for your look." Consider tunic length to wear over jeans or leggings, and waist length to match with a fitted suit or pencil skirt and cardigan. Natural fabrics like cotton, tissue-weight wool and silk last longer and drape more easily over most body shapes.
