Dehydration can leave your skin and hair dry, cause bloating and make you feel tired. Be sure to drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your trip and during your flight. Avoid coffee, caffeinated soda and alcohol -- all of which can dehydrate you even more.
On the plane, use a soft sleep mask and ear plugs so you can get some rest during flight. Also be sure to get a good night's sleep the night before your trip.
Comfortable shoes and clothes will allow you rest and relax while traveling. If you are headed to a business (or social) meeting as soon as you arrive, pack a dressier outfit in a wrinkle-free fabric in your carry-on. You can change right before exiting the plane.
If you are stepping off the plane and meeting someone right away, you will need to freshen up on board. Sprinkle your hair with dry shampoo if it is oily. Don't wear too much makeup while traveling, then head to the restroom right before landing in order to get your face together. An atomizer spray can also hydrate your skin and freshen your face.
When you arrive at your destination, don't rush yourself if possible. Upon check-in at your hotel, draw a bath and relax for a while before heading out for sightseeing or engagements. If possible, take a nap. Even a 30-minute cat nap will refresh and rejuvenate your mind, body and looks.
