In other design news, Stella McCartney (Paul McCartney's daughter, fashion designer and mother of three) has partnered with GAP to launch a collection for GAP Kids and baby GAP. The collection is slated to hit later this year and will be sold at GAP stores in the US, UK, France, Ireland Canada and Japan, as well as online.
The line will mark the designer's first foray into children's apparel, and McCartney seems very excited about it – "for years now I've wanted to create a collection for kids, it's something I've often been asked about. I believe that kids clothing should be more accessibly priced, which is particularly important given the current climate. It's really exciting for us to do a boys and girls collection for the first time."
This is not the first time McCartney has partnered with other brands for one-off collections. She has collaborated with Adidas and H&M in the past for highly successful lines.
