Best cleanser

Purpose Gentle Cleansing Wash ($7) is the best everyday facial cleanser for the money on the market. It leaves your skin fresh and clean without over-drying, removes makeup and even clears mild acne.

Top Cosmetic Products

St. Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub

Best exfoliating scrub

For an affordable facial scrub that really works, choose St. Ives Skin Invigorating Apricot Scrub ($4). It removes surface skin cells to leave your face smooth and rejuvenated.

Top Cosmetic Products

Best facial mask

Queen Helene Masks are affordable and effective. Choose the Mint Julep Masque  ($4) to dry up acne, shrink large pores and rinse away blackheads.

Top Cosmetic ProductsPhilosophy Hope in a Jar moisturizerBest daily moisturizer

We love Philosophy Hope In A Jar ($38), designed to smooth the complexion and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It absorbs fast, doesn't feel heavy and can be used everyday.

Top Cosmetic Products

Best anti-aging product

M Lab Anti-Aging Treatment Cream is truly the best anti-aging product we've tried. There's a lot of science behind it. The skincare line uses clinically active ingredients that target every sign of aging. One drawback - it comes with a hefty price tag - $260 for 2.4 oz size - but a little goes a long way.

Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream

Top Cosmetic Products

Best night cream

Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream ($26) is a fantastic product that is effective and inexpensive. Used nightly, the cream will leave your skin looking -- and feeling smooth and soft. It works at the cellular level to really nourish, hydrate and tone your skin.

Top Cosmetic Products

Best acne treatment

We've all seen the infommercials about Proactiv, but their system really does work. If you have problem acne, no matter your age, the Proactiv Solution 3-Step System is worth the price. It clears troubled skin and even treats tough cystic acne without drying your skin.

Top Cosmetic ProductsBest hand cream

A good hand cream is hard to find. Oftentimes, the ones that hydrate and nourish your skin are too greasy. L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream ($26) is just perfect. It's a thick, rich cream but it absorbs quickly so it's the perfect product to toss in your purse.

Top Cosmetic ProductsBest body lotion

Bath & Body Works body lotions are the fun and fresh. They hydrate, nourish and smell wonderful. Two of our favorite scents are Cherry Blossom and Lemongrass Sage, but for a sultry summer treat try their Bali Mango.

Brown Sugar Body Polish

Top Cosmetic ProductsBest body scrub

Body scrubs remove dead skin cells, leaving your skin soft and smooth. You can make your own scrub at home, head to the spa, or try a product like Fresh Brown Sugar Body Polish ($38). This scrub blends pure brown sugar with fine oils to remove dirt and toxins, increase circulation and calm overactive oil glands.

Top Skincare ProductsBest sunless tanner

If you are looking for a tanning product that doesn't turn your skin orange or look too harsh, Jergens Natural Glow Revitalizing Moisturizer ($9) is a great choice. It's a gradual self-tanner that takes a little time to build up the color. It also leaves your skin moisturized, rather than dried out like other sunless tanning products.

Love Bobbi Brown's Shimmer Brick in Bronze for summer tan on my face and elsewhere without the damage from the sun. Only caveat is to remember that a little goes a long way--- it does have shimmer which can be overdone. The stripes of color can also be used as eye shadow as well!

Hello Keri! Yes, coconut oil has always been very effective against dermatitis so using virgin coconut oil (VCO) in lip balm products is indeed a wise decision. Just my two cents. Take care. Cheers, CoconutOilGuy www.coconut-oil-central Your Drugstore in a Bottle
