As London Fashion Week draws to a close we reflect on what we've learned.

Nobody's important enough to hold up Burberry

Kate Moss, Jourdan Dunn, Cara Delevingne, Sam Smith and Mario Testino all made it on time for the hotly anticipated Burberry show on Monday but one particular supermodel missed the first 10 minutes. Yes, not even Naomi Campbell has enough clout to delay Burberry (much to Mossy's amusement).

You should always check what your friend is wearing

Even with an extensive wardrobe and endless designer threads at your disposal there's still the chance you and your mate will both turn up to an event in your leopard print jacket and denim. Just like Alexa Chung and Pixie Geldof discovered before the Shrimps show at Somerset House. Cringe.

The high street can totally rock the LFW catwalk

Sir Philip had another reason to smile at London Fashion Week. The Topshop Unique show on Sunday afternoon went down a storm. Baby blue cord flares, wild flower print tea dresses, PVC macs, embellished mini skirts, knee high boots and cropped faux fur jackets — we want it all.
