Cut a piece of red striping tape and place it down the side of your nail, trimming at the bottom.

Begin with 2 coats of red for your base coat.
Paint white over it, let dry, and paint blue over that.
You'll now have 3 layers of color.
Dip a Q-tip in nail polish remover and rub away the nail polish in one spot until you reach the red layer. Use the other clean side of the Q-tip and repeat, making different faded spots on all the nails. Follow with top coat.
