Julia Roberts in Dolce & Gabbana

Julia Roberts didn't take home the award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in August: Osage County at the Golden Globes this year. But did she at least land a spot on our best-dressed list? Well, that one's up for debate…

Julia Roberts Golden Globes

Forget your basic black dresses and beautiful ball gowns when it comes to Golden Globes style!

This year, celebs are seriously switching it up and rocking pants underneath dresses (a la Emma Watson) and button-up shirts underneath strapless gowns like our girl Julia Roberts.

However, while we absolutely adored Emma's fashion-forward ensemble, we must admit we were a little bit on the fence about Roberts'.

Paired with her beehive up-do, the combination of the white shirt detail and black Dolce & Gabbana dress with the sparkly, skinny belt, seemed to age her.

Perhaps the outfit could have worked better with a different up-do or with no belt.

We don't hate it, but we don't love it either.
