Pink and Michelle Dockery's beautiful celebrity styles made us do a double take this week! We're telling you why in this week's installment of Friday's Fashion Obsessions.
Pink took a stylish break from her hot tour to attend the Cyndi Lauper and Friends: Home for the Holidays concert in NYC last week. Of course, the singer and mom walked the press line in style in an all-black ensemble I'm coveting!
A pleated leather skirt is one of the season's must-have items for many reasons: It's chic, warm and versatile. You can wear it in so many ways, and Pink opted for one of my faves, with a shirt tucked into it. The effect is oh-so-slimming and ever stylish, and the varying textures here give the all-black look some dimension. Pink paired her cool look with some classy ankle booties for a pretty polished ensemble.
The final verdict? To add some color to her monochromatic look, Pink colored her lips in a bright red lipstick and added some highlighter in strategic spots like her cheeks. The result? A simple, yet beautiful look that we can all copy!
Rejoice, Downton Abbey addicts! The show is coming back for a new season. Even if you're not a fan of the show, you can still rejoice, though, because one of its stars, Michelle Dockery, selected a fabulous flirty pink frock for a screening and I'm certainly gushing over it.
Pastel pinks are on trend this winter (who knew, right?), and I'm pretty psyched about that. The color is usually reserved for the warmer months, but it can actually look quite lovely when worn in a winter silhouette, like Michelle's long sleeve fit and flare dress. The key? Toughen up the soft, summery color with some details that provide a bit of attitude, like Michelle's embellished floral print.
The final verdict? Michelle added some peep toe camel pumps, a black clutch and a bold lip to her look. The result? Sheer perfection. So pretty!
