If you love nature, you'll love these nails! We're incorporating a real feather that's sure to turn heads, as well as a glitzy and colorful painted version.

Real feathers

Supplies:

  • Essie's Sand Tropez
  • Square Hue's Lincoln Road
  • Essie top coat
  • Scissors
  • Feathers (we used Guinea Hen)

Base

Paint two nails gray and three nails tan. Let dry.

Apply feather

Working one nail at a time, apply a top coat and position the tip of a feather over your nail, and then gently press down. Let it dry a bit and then trim the excess feather. Repeat for all nails.

Seal

Apply a top coat on top of the feather to seal it. The result will be textured, but you can add as many top coats as you want to make it more glossy.
