Product Review: Brownberry New York Clear Sunless Tanning SprayName of product:

Brownberry New York Clear Sunless Tanning Spray (brownberrynyc.com, $45)

What the product claims to do:

Deliver a healthy, sun-kissed glow without the harmful effects of UV rays and sun damage.

How it worked for me:

It worked well, with even coverage but gave me a slight orange tint.

How this product looks and feels:

It goes on very easily and clear via aerosol spray.

What I liked about this product:

It’s dermatologist-tested, paraben and oil-free. It’s also enriched with vitamin D3.

What I would change about this product:

Before the green tea scent kicks in, there is an initial alcohol smell.

Describe the application process, how often you used the product and for how long:

Hold six inches from skin and spray in constant motion. Wait four to six hours before showering and five minutes before getting dressed. The product is meant to be applied at night.

Describe the results you saw:

It's meant to last eight days, and I saw results in less than five hours. There was an obvious difference the day I applied it.

I would recommend this product for:

Women who have a vitamin D deficiency and/or do not like rubbing lotions on their bodies to produce a tan.

If relevant, how I felt about the scent of this product:

It smells lovely — like green tea.
