One Direction says you "don't need makeup to cover up" in their breakthrough single, "What Makes You Beautiful." But apparently, they want you to wear it anyway. The British group is teaming up with Makeup Academy to release a line of cosmetics later this summer.
The line — dubbed "Little Things" — is composed of four main items: lip gloss, lipstick, cheek tint and nail polish.
"The 5 shades of Lip [gloss] are not only really moisturizing, with some great shades, but they also smell absolutely delicious!" MUA writes.
Each shade (which retails for about $4) is named after a band member: "Harry loves Strawberry," "Zayn loves Watermelon," "Louis loves Vanilla," "Niall loves Cherry" and "Liam loves Blueberry."
The lipsticks also come in five different shades.
"The Kiss You Lipstick range has got something for everyone!" MUA continues. "If you love classic red lips then 'Be Mine' is perfect for you, or if you prefer a more natural subtle lip then try 'Moments,' a soft pink. For the bolder MUA fans we've got an amazing bright coral — 'I Wish' or 'Rock Me' — a lovely lilac — and no Lipstick collection would be complete without a bright pink, which is where 'I Want' comes in!"
Fans have three different cheek hues to choose from: "Coral Cutie," "Pink Explosion" and "Rose Riot."
"These cream tint blushers are really buildable, whether you want a natural glow or a rosy cheeked look, the shades are universal as your natural skin tone will show through slightly," MUA writes.
Then, of course, comes the nail polish.
The makeup line is scheduled to go on sale on the Makeup Academy website soon. Not into the makeup but still want to "wear" 1D on your body? The five guys are releasing their first fragrance, One Moment, later this summer.
