I always recommend they wear a daily sunscreen! It should be an SPF of 30 or higher. Women over 35 run the risk of skin cancer much more than their younger counterparts. That's not to say you shouldn't wear one if you're under 35 -- everyone should.
That also goes for incidental sun exposure like walking to the car or subway, or running to the market or gym. Sun exposure is accumulative, so every little bit you get is being stored in your cells and then all comes out to throw a big sun damage party! And let me tell you, the clean up is awful! So every ounce of prevention is worth its weight in gold.
I also suggest incorporating honey into their skincare regimen. Honey is loaded with natural vitamins and nutrients and also contains anti-oxidants, making it an important part of any anti-aging program for staving off lines and wrinkles.
Honey can be used directly on the skin as a mask or incorporated into their skincare routine as a cleansing booster or in addition to a night cream or their favorite mask. When purchasing honey be sure it says "all natural" or "raw," as this will insure you're getting the most benefit from the ingredients.
