Hello street style perfection! I'd like to thank Jamie Chung for giving us the perfect example of how to dress for a summer day. Sigh, can I just always look this good?
White eyelet top? Check. Floral pants? Double check. Neon bag? Wait, what? Yep, folks, this is a super fun combo that's really unexpected. A lot of us are nervous to rock either bold neons or florals, but combining them worked out really well for Jamie here. The key? Simple shoes and shades, and sleek hair. Oh, and attitude, that's a must.
The final verdict? Jamie Chung seems to have nailed street style in a way that many celebs haven't. The trick? She never looks too put together. Your lesson? Try hard, but not too hard. Don't be a slave to the latest trends, and try to combine unexpected items, like a neon purse with floral pants.
In honor of the Fourth of July this week, I'm paying homage to this beautiful (and perhaps unintentional) patriotic ensemble I spotted French actress Lea Seydoux rocking at Paris Fashion Week. Looking red hot — literally — Lea!
Red is always a "look at me" color, but when combined with a winding peplum and colorful accessories, this hue becomes even hotter. I'm loving the way Lea's peplum extends from her waist to her thigh for an office-ready dress. She accessorized with a blue chain purse, yellow strappy pumps and a red lip.
The final verdict? Mixing colors can be intimidating, especially when you didn't do so hot in art class (guilty!) and aren't always sure what colors will work best together. Most of the time, your instinct is better than you think, so don't be afraid to play with different combos!
