It is about a clique of girls. The leader of the book is Massie. Her family is very rich, and once she hears that her dad's friend and his family will be staying with them for awhile, she is devastated. Her dad's friend has a daughter, Claire, who is the same age as Massie. Claire tries to join Massie's clique. But she really doesn't fit in with all these popular girls. Will Claire make friends with these popular girls, or will she find friends of her own?
