The groundhog may have seen his shadow but spring is right around the corner. Freshen up your wardrobe this season with some of these spring 2009 fashion trends.

Something nude

As much as bright pops of color are a huge trend this season, so is the lack of color, as in nude tones that is. Paired with a bright piece or worn from head-to-toe, incorporating neutral colors into your wardrobe is a must this season.

Hot pink

Channel your inner girly girl and bust out in something hot pink this spring. The super feminine, bold and bright color will bolster your mood, your confidence and is a definite head-turner.

Jumpsuits

It may seem a little Jetsons to you, but the jumpsuit is back - and in a big way! Whether long or short, jumpsuits were a major trend on the spring runways this season. And when you can choose from short-sleeved, sleeveless, dressy or casual, there should be one to suit just about anyone.

At first I thought the whole jump suit idea was crazy... but the way they're designing them this season is fantastic! BCBG has some really nice ones out for the spring both in thier runway collection and thier ready-to-wear... Toronto's fashion week was last week for fall/winter 2009. There's some great stuff to come off those runways for this fall! For more info check out www.fashweekly early April xo

It's really important for me the images of what are you talking about.

Yup, I've noticed those neutral colors too. If they are not nude then they are cream or maybe a light shade of peach. I saw a really interesting pair of harem pants at Loehmann's the other day (I think they must have been Sinequanone, because they blogged about them recently). Don't forget to think about what color your underwear is, if the neutral colors are see-through, you might expose more than you want! BTW that Loehmann's blogpost is here: http://blog.loehmanns/french-fashion-on-the-loehmanns-catwalk
