After spending a wild few hours at Scottsdale bar Dirty/Pretty, Barkley made his way to his car with party pals Michael Strahan -- yes, the football star -- and Jaleel White -- yes, that would be Steve Urkel.

Cops from a DUI task force unit pulled Barkley over around 1:30 a.m. after he ran a stop sign and was given a blood test when he showed signs of impairment and refused a Breathalyzer test.

“He was very respectful and very cooperative,” Lt. Eric Shuhandler says. “He was handled just like we would handle anyone else.”

During a search of Barkley’s vehicle, cops found wine coolers and bear claw donuts.
