October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. When shopping for cosmetics and lingerie, shop pink! Pink lipstick and lingerie is flirty, sexy and fun. Many companies have designated pink products this month which proceeds benefit breast cancer awareness and research. While you are shopping, you will be helping out a very worthy cause.

Clinique is giving back to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation by donating $10 from the sale of each Butter Shine Lipstick in Ribbon Pink sold during the month. This limited edition color is sold exclusively at Sephora.

Evelyn Lauder Lip Color Collection

Estee Lauder has committed to give a minimum of $500,000 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation with their Pink Ribbon Collection. One of the Pink Ribbon items is the Evelyn Lauder Lip Color Collection, which includes a set of 3 full sized lipsticks - two Pure Color Long Lasting Lipsticks (Bali Rose and Candy), along with one Estee Lauder Signature Hydra Lustre Lipstick (Rich Berry). Susan G. Komen for the Cure

This organization is dedicated to awareness, education and research about breast cancer causes, treatments and a search for cure. With chapters all over the country holding races and other events, this is a very well-known organization.

Young Survival Coalition

This website offers breast cancer information about community programs, research and trials and other events. They also can put you in touch with healthcare professionals through free nationwide teleconferencing.
