Disney announced that High School Musical 3 will be released October 24.

Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron, Ashlee Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman and Lucas Grabeel are all back for the third and final chapter in the Disney film that made it cool to be passionate about musicals. Watch for this sensation to go to entirely new levels.

High School Musical 3: Senior Year has all the joys of that last time in high school before life grabs hold. Musical sequences are sure to include graduation, prom and the painful decision every high school couple faces as college and distance stares them in the face. I see a ballad with Zac and Vanessa singing in their teenage love struck best.

Hudgens is enjoying some success with her latest solo CD, Identified, and has reported being quite excited about the ‘what’s next’ of her career.

One thing, for now, is sure. The youth nation will be in movie houses across the country on October 24 living their musical heroes senior year.
