Actor Bill Murray has been granted a divorce from wife of eleven years, Jennifer Butler Murray, less than a month after she requested a legal separation.
The couple, who were married in July 1997, have four children who will continue to live with Butler.
Murray will have visitation rights and pay child support. Butler received the couple’s home in Sullivan’s Island, South Carolina, and a second home in Hemet, CA.
According to a prenuptial agreement, Butler will receive a $7 million payout from Murray within 60 days of the divorce.
Butler accused Murray of being addicted to alcohol and marijuana and verbally and physically abusing her -- a charge Murray has denied.
