Katie Holmes is set to star in a revival of the classic Arthur Miller play “All My Sons” on Broadway later this year.

Katie brings uber style to BroadwayThe cast will also include Tony Award winner John Lithgow, Academy Award winner Dianne Wiest and musical theater star Patrick Wilson.

Long gone are Katie’s “Teaching Mrs. Tingle” days -- she is a serious actor now!

According to Playbill, “All My Sons tells the story of a man who hastily sold defective airplane parts to the Army, which caused the crafts to crash, killing 21 men. His crime, which he long had deflected by blaming his business partner, comes back to light as his son plans to wed the partner's daughter.”

Katie, of course, will play that daughter.

The play is one of the most emotional pieces of work you will ever see. Miller's work is tragic and hits home on so many levels and could not be more timely in today's world.

Neither a theater nor dates have yet been announced.

Stay tuned for details, Broadway has not been kind to movie stars of late, just as Julia Roberts.

Ugh! Why does Katie Holmes keep insisting she is a relevant or interesting actor? She will surely ruin this play.
