“Liv Tyler and Royston Langdon have confirmed their separation. They remain good friends and devoted parents to their son Milo and are requesting that their family’s privacy be respected at this time,” a rep for the couple said in statement.
The couple wed in small Caribbean ceremony in 2003 and has a son, Milo, born in 2004.
Tongues started wagging earlier this week when Liv appeared at the celebrity-heavy Costume Institute Gala in New York without her wedding ring.
But while the couple’s rep might be mute on a cause for the split, the couple’s friends are talking. One told US Magazine a conversation between Liv and her lawyer was overheard. “In the conversation, she complained about her husband being a ‘leach’ on her assets, and she said she got married too young,” said the source.
Sounds like a story told all too often.
