7. Angelina Jolie and Marcheline Bertrand

These two bonded over a deadbeat dad and love of the theater arts. Marcheline was married to Angelina's dad, actor Jon Voight, for just a few years, but the couple managed to produce two wonderful children out of a bad marriage.

Marcheline and Angelina were particularly close, and when Angie's mom heath was deteriorating in 2006, Angelina Jolie flew from Africa to be by her side before she passed away.
