With the season premiere of The Apprentice close on the horizon, Ivanka Trump has stood up for her pop Don in his feud with Rosie O'Donnell. The flap started over The Don's pardoning of wayward Miss USA Tara Conner and quickly degenerated in a mud-slinging insult fest. Ivanka, 25 years old an already Vice President of Real Estate Development at the Trump Organization, appeared on Today to promote the new season, in which she appears as dad's right-hand woman. In an interview with Meredith Viera, Ivanka said of Rosie's remarks, "I think it was unfair, it was uncalled for and, quite frankly, there was no reason for it." "As my father said, she, too, has had a lot of second chances," she continued. "You know, there's nothing surprising about the fact that my dad's gonna come back with a vengeance anytime anyone says anything negative against him." It was a much more civil dialogue than either Donald or Rosie had engaged in during the ruckus, which included Donald calling Rosie a �"fat pig” and Rosie making fun of The Don's infamous comb-over.
